They do. . .its called a hurricane!! Lol. . .all joking aside, there are a select few items that can be recommended, shrimp and grits, sausages, diligent to actual foodalergies- but most if what good creole food is, in general, will not meet this dietary restriction and you should write tgis former chef for other recomendations. . (sweet melissas, mercury cafe, watercourse, citu o city, ect) as for Lucille s your food sensitivity may be challenged by most if what is best in dark and light- thier aspect, but her eyes- enough byron already-No gravy, corncakes, poboys, fried anything or even thier blessed roux for desert. . . not just entree - its all flour based at conception, so it is a severe handicap to your appretiation here. However "atkinsian" suggestions from sausage to 90% if the bar still sounds like a good time to me
They do. Although brunch can be intimidating if attempted last minute. One of the best breakfasts in longmont and denver respectively
Don't let the lack of reservations stop you from eating here. It is outstanding.
No. . .family business at heart
First time here and everything was great and made from scratch. Beignets were amazing and so were the grits
Great brunch after a night of drinking! Very fair prices too, and the service was exceptional. Would visit again!
Seriously, AMAZING FOOD!!! My new favorite, I wish I didn’t live 8 hours away but know that I’ll be going to Lucile’s everything time I come to Colorado!!! ALSO you have to try their ketchup, it’s to DIE for and if you love it, you can buy a few bottles to take home!
Great food, great service. Beignets to die for.
Great home cooking. I love the bs & gs.
We come here often but usually sit outside because the indoor seating can get quite stuffy. Their fruit selection isn't as good as the Boulder location, but still a great menu.Edit: We've been consistently having poor service at this location. Most recently, we came in at 8:05am on a Saturday, and the hostess immediately sat everyone in line in front of us, but then she took our name (party of 2) and made us wait. A few minutes later, she sat a party of 5 that came in after us. The restaurant was still mostly empty so we couldn't understand why we were being forced to wait, and why other parties got priority when they arrived later than us.
Very impressed! Had the Beignets with home made jam, marmalade, and apple butter and boy were they good! Next was the Eggs Sardou with creamed spinach and poached shrimp. It was an outstanding combination! The service was good for a small, cramped, but charming decor, the servers have to dance around quite a bit. The only downer was the biscuit, it was too big and soft, I prefer a biscuit that has a firm outside and a soft center, but that was not a deal killer by any means, it was still tasty.
unique entrees and well prepared which makes this restaurant stand out from most others. Excellent service as well. I like the cozy atmosphere of the little house too.
An excellent breakfast this morning at Lucille‘s, as always. Very sensible and effective protocols to re-open their dining areas. Both the food and service were top notch. Well done!
If you are in the vicinity of Longmont, CO you absolutely must stop in to Lucile’s. The food is superb with a homey atmosphere. You will be transported to your aunt from Louisiana’s kitchen and treated to some of her best home cooked meals. The breakfast is great, the lunch is awesome, the drinks are divine, and the service is excellent. Make sure to get there early as good times don’t last long, and parking gets tight around peak hours.
Very good! We shared beignets which were served hot and fresh with powdered sugar on top. I got Pontchartrain eggs which were delicious, I would definitely recommend them.
Rich creole food. Good eggplant and eggs.
Lucille's is such a fun and yummy place to visit. We have been for lunch and rece6went for Sunday lunch. If the weather is nice they have a great outdoor seating option. We tried their beignets, my husband and daughter liked them. We tried their biscuits and gravy, served with a spicy sausage gravy, grits and beans with bits of pork. It was delicious! The biscuits are huge and fluffy. I had the French toast which was served with what I guess is an apple cinnamon type syrup, and a great side of fruit. My husband had a poached egg dish that was excellent. The French toast was great. I had a latte with honey that was superb.
Food is good. This morning I had the biscuit with gravy cajun style. Very tasty. Louisiana atmosphere. Outside patio.
I had only heard about Lucile's, but never had the time to actually make a visit. It has a great cafe feel and their spiced tea is a delight. I deeply enjoyed the Eggs Jennifer and their French pressed coffee. I will definitely be making time for another meal!
Delicious breakfast! Be sure to ask for the jalapeño grits instead of the plain grits. The biscuits are worth the trip alone.
We ordered the mother's day breakfast, the Pain Perdue with scrambled eggs and sausage and mimosas. The tray was huge and the brunch was way more detailed than they gave themselves credit for! It was beautiful! There was a ton of food and fresh fruit and I was so surprised that I said I would do this every year - hopefully no stay at home orders for next year but I want to get the same thing I ordered and take off to go fishing like we did today. Thank you Longmont Lucille's for the start of my perfect day with your perfect foods. I'm so grateful to you all.
Great cajun and creole food for breakfast and lunch.
This has always been a great breakfast spot. We decided to venture out to see their patio, and it is really nice. Very easy access and they have gone to great lengths to make everything safe. The picture shows a QR code you can scan with your phone and bring up their whole menu so they don’t have to waste disposable menus on every person. They have gone to great links to make everything good for us, and we will definitely be backOh yeah, and the food is absolutely amazing! If you are ready to break out of the house and have a great meal, you can feel safe here and know that you leave for a good food
Was one of the choices my niece had during my first visit to the Rockies and is considered a Longmont culinary treasure and I concur with the assessment. I had some of the best biscuits and gravy ever that had an amazing Creole flair. And of course the Locals know the Pastries with the powder sugar are unbelievable. This is a place I would recommend to anyone visiting the Rockies to grab breakfast/lunch and Longmont is probably the best place near the Mountains to make a Base out of.
Fantastic brunch spot! We've never been disappointed. The Eggs Orleans are my favorite vegetarian option. Beinets are yummy too. The fresh squeezed OJ is worth the price. The giant biscuit and all the home made jams provide a great snack later in the day!
Amazing !!! I usually go to one in boulder but this location is alot bigger, same amazing food!
This was my first time eating at this location. Every bit as good as the Fort Collins one. Worth every penny.
One afternoon, a friend of mine told me all about your handmade biscuits and jams and chicory coffee. She described the cozy environment and how everyone was so friendly, and more. For the rest of the day I could not stop thinking about those biscuits! I woke up the next morning in total go mode. lol So I went. So so good! She described it perfectly. The sweet little napkins are the icing on the cake. 🙏🏻
Good food cheese omelet was the best .Little pricey though.
Beignets and coffee with chicory...finest kind!
The breakfast here is TO DIE FOR! The potatoes are made in heaven I'm pretty sure. Wait staff is amazing and the food always come out fast and hot! The sausage gravy is the best I've had in my whole life! Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch. The gumbo is also top tier!
Wonderful food. Great variety. Good service. Charming place. What more can we ask for?
Warm and cozy breakfast spot. I had the blackened salmon with soft poached eggs and it was very tasty. Also yummy biscuits crust! Friendly service too. Would like to come back and try other breakfast flavors.
Lovely place. Very cute, great staff and delicious food. Perfect place for a weekday brunch.
The food was delicious. Prolly the best breakfast we've had, but we definitely paid for it. The only issue we had was how loud it was. It was so loud I couldn't even hear my husband who was sitting right next to me. It was very charming tho. I liked the historic home feel. It would have been awesome if they had red eye gravy as well :-)
Wow, Louisiana knows how to eat! Delicious breakfast, and lots of it!
This is one of the best brunches in town. The food is great and you can tell things are hand made, even the katchup and hot sauce and the preseves for your biscuit are all hand made. This place is very homey so if you are expecting matching napkins and fine crystal, you wont find that here. The place is in an old house which is really neat and it doesn't seem to crowded. Parking can be a bit of a hassle at times if the parking lot is full, and they don't take reservations so you can expect to wait at peak times. I personally think it's worth the wait every time.
What a great place! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. From the wait staff, to the food, to the atmosphere. It was all wonderful!
Oysters Rockefellers was awesome :3
Great place! enjoy the food and coffee!
A great New Orleans experience! Food is authentic New Orleans. Delicious breakfast and lunch - with generous portions. A must experience location in Longmont, CO. Most times there will be a 15-20 minute wait. Our wait person was a little slow with service but had a good friendly attitude.
Lucille's is amazing. If you are looking for the best breakfast in Longmont look no further. I ordered the oysters Rockefeller. My first sign of the good meal to come was the biscuit. This biscuit is the size if my face–fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside.Everything about the Rockefeller was perfect. Fried oysters, egg, and spinach over a delicious sauce. Don't forget to dip the biscuit!
Not a large variety on the lunch menu but the red beans and rice are absolutely wonderful. Nice patio seating area and good service as well. Unfortunately they do not offer sweet tea. Regardless, I do recommend this eatery.
This is one of my favorite brunch places!! The food is amazing and I always have a hard time what to choose since everything is so good. Their biscuits, french toast, eyes, potatoes, grits, or the beignets are to die for!!! The homemade chai is amazing as well:) Will recommend this place to whomever may ask!!
Consistently awesome! Friendly service and the delicious food. The coffee is yummy and plentiful, and fresh the biscuits are memorable.
They just let their phones ring and ring and ring plus there is no online ordering.. going somewhere else they actually pick up the phone. It’s covid times come on - some of us are still practicing safer at home regardless of your dining area being reopened we should get service too!
Delicious Cajun food - one of the few places in northern Colorado that you can buy some - but often crowded. The location is a converted house which has placed tables in every corner and cranny. Authorized for an 85 person capacity, a reasonable lunch service will be closer to 60.Food is good, although unhealthy and heavy by virtue of Cajun cuisine. Food execution was pretty consistent, with only some dry meats and overdone eggs in the times I've eaten here. It's worth a visit if you miss Cajun food as I do, or perhaps you are looking for something new in a local Colorado adventure!
One of my favorite restaurants in Denver. Definitely drop in if you're in the area.
I have not been able to go to this restaurant since I moved here. Well I waited too long!! This place is fantastic!! I came on a Wednesday afternoon and sat at the bar. Kylee was my server/bartender and she is amazing!! She was engaging and welcoming from the beginning. She offered food and I went with their French Toast it is amazing with both the homemade jam and homemade syrup!!! I told Kylee I would be back at least once a week!!
Awesome location, great food as always! A year later it's still amazing! I had the Carlin County and the Country Ham! The gumbo was insanely good as well! The service was prompt and delightful! A +++
One of Longmont's best kept secrets! You will be amazed at the flavors and the care taken to recreate a little but of Creole here in ihe mountains. The food is fantastic, portions are very generous. Cooked onsite and presented by a very friendly and courteous staff in a cozy dining setting. Well worth the visit!
Quick and great food, everything looks home made and excellent service! The environment and music are relaxing while you enjoy the food.
Great Cajun / Creole Breakfast.
Good food. I had the jambalaya and it tasted pretty good. Could have been a little spicier but it is Longmont :) the prices were a bit high for lunch but it didn't disappoint. The jambalaya is a Friday special. The corn bread was good. Not sweet and had a good bit of grittiness.
